Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement online marketing campaigns and tools, including email and newsletter marketing for RTA initiatives.
  • Secure editorial placements on major online portals (e.g., AOL, Yahoo, MSN).
  • Support web development projects such as microsites, web campaigns, and enhancing site functionality.
  • Promote RTA’s presence in major online trend features and digital media coverage.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with bloggers, online magazines, and key entertainment and niche websites to ensure consistent coverage.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments (MCC Team, IT Department, E-Government Team, etc.) for effective project planning and execution.
  • Monitor and evaluate new digital technologies and promotional tools to keep RTA at the forefront of web media innovation.
  • Submit digital content for industry awards and recognition (e.g., Online Journalism Awards, Best of the Web).
  • Collect, analyze, and report on the performance of digital campaigns using tools like BlogPulse, Google Trends, Yahoo Buzz Index, etc.
  • Deliver specifications to the IT team and coordinate implementation from concept to testing and launch.
  • Act as the central liaison with all departments and the Corporate Communications team to align and leverage all digital marketing assets.
  • Promote RTA’s digital content portfolio including websites, blogs, widgets, online videos, and more across relevant online platforms.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from a recognized university (Master’s degree preferred).
Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within international organizations.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, capable of inspiring teams to meet high-performance standards.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Creative problem-solver, able to find innovative and practical solutions.
  • Advanced analytical thinking and experience improving and streamlining complex processes.
  • Proven experience in audience targeting and crafting campaigns to engage specific demographics.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and the blogging ecosystem (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Digg, Flickr, etc.) and their strategic uses.
  • SEO expertise, with knowledge of the latest optimization techniques and ability to offer strategic insights.
  • Proficiency in SEM & PPC, with experience working with major search engines and paid advertising platforms.
  • Skilled in using tools like Google AdWords, Radian6, and other relevant marketing software.
  • Flexible team player with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.
  • Highly computer literate with proficiency across a range of software applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for clear and impactful messaging.
